Brecon Town Concert Band is a community based wind band that has been in existence since 1967 when it was last reformed - a group of music loving individuals from all walks of life that simply enjoy the great pleasure of making live music together. The bands membership varies from around 30 to 50, and has members in all the age ranges. New members are always welcomed

The Preseli Orchestra was formed in July 1994 to provide opportunities for musicians of all standards, and is the only regular amateur orchestra for adults in West Wales. We rehearse weekly at Prendergast Junior School in Haverfordwest during school terms, and perform several concerts each year. We are always interested in new string players, and woodwind, brass and percussion players when there are vacancies. There are no auditions.
