Colwyn Bay and District Lions Club is part of Lions Clubs International. Latest figures show that our world-wide membership is 1,413,431 in more than 45,000 Clubs active in 185 nations and geographical areas. We have come a long way since our humble beginning in 1917. Like other clubs our membership comprises people who willingly give their own precious time and energy to raise money and/or assist those others of our community who are less fortunate than ourselves.

We are based in Hirael, on Bangor High Street and offer space and resources to support a wide range of projects, courses, activities and services. Established in 1982, Tŷ Gwydr Greenhouse has been the starting point for a wide range of community and voluntary groups now serving Bangor and the surrounding area.
