The Cynon Valley Activity Centre is situated in the Cynon valley on the southern edge of the Brecon Beacons, about two miles to the north west of the village of Hirwaun. (Landranger Map 160, Explorer Map OL12, GR SN925075). It is a typical Welsh cottage and barn which has been converted into hostel type accommodation for up to 29 people.
