Llanfyllin Town Council
http://community-councils.powys.org.uk/llanfyllin
Llanfyllin has a long and interesting history. It is set in a deep valley surrounded by gently rolling hills which are typical of Mid-Wales. Tradition alludes to Saint Myllin, the 7th century Celt, as the first cleric to baptise by total immersion in his holy well. The town is named after him and the church is also dedicated to St Myllin.
