Based between Bristol and Cardiff, the string quartet frequently give recitals and provide live music for weddings, social functions, corporate events, birthday parties, fetes, award ceremonies, banquets, balls, religious celebrations, and business and charity events in Wales, Bristol, South Gloucestershire, Somerset and the South West.

An exciting and vibrant ensemble of professional musicians, the Ardeton String Quartet has been playing for weddings and corporate functions in South Wales and the South West since 2001 when it was formed by Postgraduates of the Birmingham Conservatoire and Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. We are available for events in Cardiff, Swansea, South Wales, Bristol, Bath, Gloucestershire and the West. The Ardeton Quartet is as at home on the stage as at a wedding or reception venue, providing live entertainment, or enhancing a special day with an unobtrusive background of music.

Mavron String Quartet

Formed in 2002, the Mavron Quartet continues to enjoy a busy schedule. Past engagements have included recitals in Belgium, Italy and Romania and closer to home the quartet were appointed Junior Fellows in chamber music at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama (2004/05). Currently they are ensemble in residence at the Gate Arts Centre, Cardiff. The quartet's work has included appearances for the National Assembly of Wales, the Commonwealth and Foreign Office and the 2006 European Presidency Celebrations. The Mavron Quartet are available for hire for private functions and weddings.
