Mansel Thomas was one of the most important and influential musicians of his generation in Wales. Famous throughout the Principality (and far beyond it) as composer, conductor and adjudicator, he was for many years the BBC's principal music representative for Wales. I'm trying to trace a photograph for a book I'm writing, it was taken in October 1985 of two teenage lads sitting on Barmouth sea front (Marine Parade?) eating chips, possibly wearing hats and carrying guitars.
