Images are initially created in watercolours, inks and oils and then transformed into an unique textile relief technique named ‘Intaglio Stratti’ devised by the artist i.e. several layers stitched together and cut work enhanced by hand thread work and mixed media. Fabrics often include cotton, wool and Indian silk.

The seaside village of Llangrannog lies on the coast of Ceredigion, in a narrow valley which the river Hawen makes its rapid way into Cardigan Bay. Another small stream, Nant Eisteddfa flows into the sea, but is mostly hidden and emerges as an outfall near the boat ramp.
The Vale of Rheidol Railway

The Vale of Rheidol Railway is one of the Great Little Trains of Wales, and was the last steam railway owned by British Rail until it was privatised in 1989. The VoR Railway runs for 11¾ miles from Aberystwyth to Devil\'s Bridge. The terminus is adjacent to the national network station at Aberystwyth, and on the hour-long journey passengers have spectacular views of the wooded Rheidol Valley - views unseen for decades until the VoRR began its renovation programme ten years ago.
