Glan Rhos was built some 200 years ago as a smallholding and was converted to a purpose built nursing home in 1989. It is located in its own well-maintained grounds, on the A4080 road, outside the village of Brynsiencyn, with magnificent views of the Snowdonia mountain range and the tranquil Anglesey countryside.

The Hooton family has farmed at Gwydryn Hîr, Brynsiencyn since 1964. Today, with two sons, Andrew and James, Michael and Rosalind Hooton produce meat, fruit, vegetables, cakes, and jams. With other farm staff, a year-round production system is organized to produce the products that are available in our farm shop and at Fron Goch Garden Centre, Llanfaglan, Caernarfon.
