The Corris Railway Societyhttp://www.corris.co.uk The narrow-gauge Corris Railway ran from 1859 to 1948. Since 1966 the Society has worked to ensure that the railway would no longer be just a memory. In 1970 the Corris Railway Museum was opened, and in 2002 passenger services recommenced on the first section of rebuilt line. The Society also researches the history of the railway and district.
