Cwmbran Squadron is the only Air Cadet unit in Torfaen (Gwent), and is quickly becoming one of the largest of 25 Squadrons in South East Wales. And in case you\'re wondering, you don\'t have to live in Cwmbran to join, we have Cadets from Pontypool, Blaenavon, Abersychan, Newport.
Fighting Fit - Fitness Gym & Martial Arts Academy

The Fighting Fit Gymnasium is part of the Fighting Fit Martial Arts and Fitness Centre, located in Griffithstown, Pontypool and run by the Welsh Taekwondo Association (Reg. Charity 1110581). It is a small, well-equipped gym located on the ground floor of the centre, and is open to everyone.

The Club offers dinghy racing in a scenic rural environment, suitable for families. We train people to sail, and have qualified instructors. Safety rescue cover is available all through the week from United Utilities. The club is run by volunteers, and has never had any paid staff. All club members take their share in being Officer of the Day and running the racing and auxiliary rescue facilities whilst we race.
