Ysgol Llandrillo-yn-Rhos is a mixed County Primary School which officially opened In September 1994 when the previous Infant and Junior Schools of Llandrillo-yn-Rhos amalgamated. Pupils aged 4-11 are organised into mixed ability classes. There is also a Nursery class. The school is conveniently situated and has the benefit of possessing playground areas which are used throughout the year.

Welcome to Llantrisant Welsh Medium Primary School. We hope that you will enjoy your visit. We are a Welsh-medium school with high expectations of our pupils. 250 pupils attend our school and their ages range from 3 to 11. Most of the children do not come from Welsh-speaking homes, but they very soon become completely bi-lingual. Although welsh is the main medium of education in the school, English is introduced in Year 3 when the pupils are 7 years old.
