Llanmadoc and Cheriton are two small villages tucked away in the north west of Gower peninsula. Llanmadoc which takes its name from the Church of St Madoc has many guesthouses, a large Holiday Home site called Whiteford Bay Leisure Homes and one alehouse called Britannia Inn. Cheriton, the small adjacent village, also has a church which is probably the most beautiful church in Gower.
