Abergele Conservation Volunteers have recently been formed enable the repair and preservation of three miles of woodland paths around Abergele. The conservation group has made a good start in making accessible the paths and restoring the dry stone supporting walls are currently working along side various bodies with the aim to restore the old parkland of Gwrych Castle. Volunteers urgently required!

The Society, a registered charity founded in 1969, is concerned with the area of the River Conwy, extending from, in the north Glan Conwy and Conwy (although Conwy itself is excluded) to Capel Curig, Dolwyddelan, Penmachno and Ysbyty Ifan in the south.
