Latest figures show that our world-wide membership is 1,413,431 in more than 45,000 Clubs active in 185 nations and geographical areas. We have come a long way since our humble beginning in 1917. Like other clubs our membership comprises people who willingly give their own precious time and energy to raise money and/or assist those others of our community who are less fortunate than ourselves.

In 1997 ASFOG (A Society For the Friends of Gwrych) was founded by Mark Baker and in 2001 it changed its name to Gwrych Castle Preservation Trust and became a registered charity. The Trust had been founded to raise awareness of Gwrych’s plight and also to establish a solution for the conservation and preservation of the castle.

All Creatures Great and Small Animal Sanctuary

We are a registered charity that cares for 170 plus animals that range from the great such as horses to the small such as mice and a lot more inbetween! We are also a rehoming centre for dogs, cats and rabbits. We do not receive any government funding and rely on donations, legacies and grants. Our primary goal is to provide a loving home for every adoptable animal. We only put animals to sleep on our vets advice.
