This is the web site of Mold and District Choral Society. A community choir that sings the major works of the choral repertoire. The choir gives a Christmas concert and a concert in the spring of each year. The choir also from time to time tours, most recently to Cork. Abertillery Orpheus is now one of the top male choirs in Wales, its success largely due to the dedication and musical ability of Mr Martin Budd who has served the choir as Musical Director since 1969. The choir looks forward to the future with great confidence in the knowledge that there music helps enrich the lives of audiences both locally and further afield. Trelawnyd Male Voice Choir is one of the largest male voice choirs in North Wales with around 100 members and is noted for its varied repertoire ranging from Vivaldi to Andrew Lloyd Webber. The choir has appeared with many notable soloists such as Bryn Terfel, Rhys Meirion, Gwyn Hughes Jones and performed alongside famous bands including the Grimethorpe Colliery and Black Dyke.
