Cowbridge Male Voice Choir (Cor Meibion y Bontfaen) was formed in 1971. In 1973 they appeared on television and in April 1974 sang before H.R.H. Princess Alexandra at the Royal Albert Hall, London, sharing the stage with Dame Vera Lynn and Larry Adler. In 1994 they appeared with Anneka Rice (CMVC President) in Challenge Anneka. Trelawnyd Male Voice Choir is one of the largest male voice choirs in North Wales with around 100 members and is noted for its varied repertoire ranging from Vivaldi to Andrew Lloyd Webber. The choir has appeared with many notable soloists such as Bryn Terfel, Rhys Meirion, Gwyn Hughes Jones and performed alongside famous bands including the Grimethorpe Colliery and Black Dyke.
