Formed in 1980 by a few enthusiastic members of the Vancouver Welsh Society, the Vancouver Welsh Men\'s Choir has grown to over one hundred singers from a variety of national and ethnic backgrounds. We offer a varied repertoire of Welsh songs, spirituals, folk, show tunes, and occasional zany antics, that always delights audiences both home and abroad.

Founded in 1978 by a small group of expats in Hong Kong, the choir has grown over the years and now has some 70 members from a dozen different nations.

The Blackstone-Ipswich Cambrian Choir was founded in 1886, as an adult choir, with the express purpose of competing in what was to become the Queensland Eisteddfod. It is now reputed to be Queensland\'s longest continuously-performing choir.

Montreal Welsh Male Choir

The roots of Côr Meibion Cymraeg stretch back in history to when in the mid 1850\'s, a large group of Welsh Quarrymen, who had been on the work force of the Menai Suspension Bridge, came to Montreal after its completion. A contract had been given to start work on the construction of the Victoria Bridge to span the St. Lawrence River. These quarrymen quickly organized themselves into a choral group.

Côr Cymry Gogledd America now has 150 choristers drawn from 26 US states and 3 Canadian provinces, ranging in age from 18 to 80+. Côr Cymry\'s repertoire has something for everyone, including new music and literature from leading Welsh and Welsh-North American composers and writers. By showcasing the wealth of talent that we have in Welsh North America, this \"community choir that spans a continent\" is bringing Welsh music of the highest musical standard to both Welsh and non-Welsh audiences.
