Llanmadoc which takes its name from the Church of St Madoc has many guesthouses, a large Holiday Home site called Whiteford Bay Leisure Homes and one alehouse called Britannia Inn. Cheriton, the small adjacent village, also has a church which is probably the most beautiful church in Gower.

A celebration of the 20 years of the Starlite Parade shows held at Tredegar Workmen\'s Hall and Tredegar Comprehensive School, produced by Betty Richard-Jones. Many photographs of the shows themselves that were hugely popular during their run of 1972- 1992. Pupils took part from Tredegar, Ebbw Vale, Beaufort, Rhymney, Pontlottyn, Markham and Blackwood. A photographic trip down Memory Lane!
