The choir's primary aim is raise funds for the Neath Port Talbot Cancer Challenge Charity which, since it was formed in 1997, has raised about £450, 000 for local hospitals of which the choir has contributed £40,000. When touring the UK and Europe the choir raises money for local charities. The choir is frequently asked to sing at weddings and private functions.
