Latest figures show that our world-wide membership is 1,413,431 in more than 45,000 Clubs active in 185 nations and geographical areas. We have come a long way since our humble beginning in 1917. Like other clubs our membership comprises people who willingly give their own precious time and energy to raise money and/or assist those others of our community who are less fortunate than ourselves.

The \'Neath Port Talbot Cancer Challenge Singers\' choir was formed by Joan Lewis, MBE, in 1999 to act as a spearhead for the Neath Port Talbot Cancer Challenge Charity which Joan had formed in 1997. The mixed choir has over 70 memberspage and is under the musical directorship of Carl McLean.
