Our thirteenth Festival celebrating language and literature. Hay is a market town in the Black Mountains of the Welsh Marches. It has 1,300 people and thirty-eight bookshops. The Festival is a big party, which really swings when everyone joins in. Hay is the perfect setting in which to celebrate the Festival holiday.
