The Royal Regiment of Wales was formed in 1969 by the amalgamation of two of Wales\'s most famous and distinguished regiments, namely The South Wales Borderers (24th Foot) and The Welch Regiment (41st/69th Foot).
41st Foot Re-enactment Society

Formed at the end of June 2002 in South Wales by a group of experienced Napoleonic re-enactors, the 41st. Regt. Foot aim to portray this fine regiment as they would have been during the Early 19th Century and the War of 1812. During this period the 41st Foot was based in Canada and took part in many of the key battles of the war.

RAF Valley is on the West coast of Anglesey, between the towns of Valley and Rhosneigr. There is another RAF airfield nearby at Mona, used for diversions and for practice touch and goes. On an average flying day there will be Hawks, Hawks and more Hawks. They will be lined up on ramps either side of the control tower, and over by the 22 Squadron helicopter Search And Rescue base.
