Tenby Coastguard

This site is designed to give an insight into the workings of the Coastguard service in and around the Tenby area, mainly of the Tenby BURT (Back Up Response Team), but also Manorbier and Caldey IRTs (Immediate Response Team). The seaside town of Tenby has a long association with the Coastguard, from the old seaside cottages on Caldey Island and around the town, right up to the present day.

Mid and West Wales Fire Brigade

The Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service covers some 4,500 square miles and makes-up almost two thirds of the landmass of the Principality of Wales. A wide variety of risks are found within our operational area ranging from the petro-chemical industries in Milford Haven, Pembrokeshire and Briton Ferry, Neath, to the risks associated with heavily populated conurbations such as Swansea, Port Talbot and Llanelli.

Aberglaslyn Mountain Rescue Team

Aberglaslyn Mountain Rescue Team (AMRT) is a registered charity that operates in North West Wales and Snowdonia. We are staffed by approximately 30 volunteers and are on call 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The team is funded almost entirely through voluntary contributions. AMRT provides a search and rescue service, not just on the mountains but covering the whole of North West Wales.

Barry Coastguard Search and Rescue Team

Barry Coastguard is a Coastguard Rescue Team (CRT) with 11 Coastguard Rescue Officers (CRO\'s), who are all volunteers, coming from a variety of backgrounds, and are on standby to respond to any coastal emergency. We are equipped to carry out coastal searches, cliff rescues, mud rescues and coordination of incidents.

NEWSAR - North East Wales Search and Rescue Team

A volunteer Search and Rescue (Mountain Rescue) Organisation Operating in North East Wales, mainly covering the counties of Flintshire, Denbighshire, Conwy, Wrexham, Powys, and parts of Wirral and Cheshire. Affiliated to the North Wales Mountain Rescue Association and Mountain Rescue England and Wales.

Llandudno Lifeboat
