The seaside town of Tenby has a long association with the Coastguard, from the old seaside cottages on Caldey Island and around the town, right up to the present day.

Aberglaslyn Mountain Rescue Team (AMRT) is a registered charity that operates in North West Wales and Snowdonia. We are staffed by approximately 30 volunteers and are on call 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The team is funded almost entirely through voluntary contributions. AMRT provides a search and rescue service, not just on the mountains but covering the whole of North West Wales.

Barry Coastguard is a Coastguard Rescue Team (CRT) with 11 Coastguard Rescue Officers (CRO\'s), who are all volunteers, coming from a variety of backgrounds, and are on standby to respond to any coastal emergency. We are equipped to carry out coastal searches, cliff rescues, mud rescues and coordination of incidents.
